These clever, compact and easy to use Decking Plank Spacers from StrataRise ensure regular spacing between deck boards of all types and, at the same time, provide separation between the planks and the joists. Preventing direct contact between the deck boards and the joist promotes better ventilation and reduces the chance of rot developing in the structure.

Two versions are supplied offering a choice of either 4mm (5/32") or 7mm (9/32") spacers to allow for appropriate expansion room in hot condition depending on the stability of the wood used. Hint: for hardwoods 4mm is the recommended gap, for softwoods and some laminates 7mm is preferable.

Requirement: about 14 pieces per m² depending on joist spacings and board widths used.
